Exhibition: "Umutima w'Urugo"

"The artist Arlette Vandeneycken lives and works in Kigali. She has become imbued by Rwandan culture thus creating a path through her own daydream world placing women in the center of all activities "Umutima w'Urugo".
The warm shades of colors in an intimate setting with some details stressed by matter, the lines placed in the foreground of her works surprise at first sight before they charm the spectator. Her vast pallet matches with the simplicity and the generosity of the forms.
The exhibition of the Artist Arlette Vandeneycken suggests rather than imposes, it is a proposal, an invitation to follow it while teaching us to meditate, to look through "Umutima w'Urugo", the heart of the family.
